Cottage Cheese Taco Dip

Ingredients:
Base Layer:
1½ cups low-fat cottage cheese
1 tablespoon taco seasoning (homemade or store-bought)
Optional: 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt for extra creaminess
Topping Layers:
½ cup salsa (thick, not too watery)
½ cup shredded lettuce
½ cup diced tomatoes or cherry tomatoes
¼ cup sliced black olives
¼ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
¼ cup diced red onion or green onions
Optional: diced avocado or guacamole, chopped cilantro, or jalapeños
Instructions:
In a blender or food processor, blend cottage cheese and taco seasoning (and Greek yogurt if using) until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Spread the cottage cheese mixture into the bottom of a serving dish or shallow bowl.
Layer the salsa gently over the cottage cheese base.
Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cheese, onion, and any additional toppings of your choice.
Chill for 15–30 minutes for best flavor and texture (optional), or serve immediately.
