Avocado Infused Hummus Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 6 (about 2 tablespoons per serving)
Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons tahini
2 tablespoons fresh lime or lemon juice
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
2–3 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
Optional garnish: chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, or a drizzle of olive oil
Instructions:
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, avocado, tahini, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt.
Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Add water one tablespoon at a time to reach your desired consistency.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
