Ground Beef Stir Fry

Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes Serving: 4 people

Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
3 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 tsp ground ginger
3 tablespoon corn starch
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
2 table spoons olive or vegetable oil
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup green beans
1 small yellow onion
1/2 cup carrots
1 red bell pepper
1 rib celery
2 cups cooked rice
Instructions:
Slice onion and bell pepper and carrots to your desired length and set aside.
Combine cornstarch and cold water. set aside in a cool place.
combine sauce ingredients: cornstarch, beef broth, chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, garlic cloves, hot sauce, ground ginger in a bowl and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
add in ground beef to the skillet. While cooking or before, season the beef with garlic salt, onion powder, and black pepper. cook until browned. Drain the grease and set beef aside.
Make the stir fry. add a splash of olive oil and add broccoli, green beans, onions, and celery. cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened. then add carrots and bell peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the sauce mixture. bring that to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Then add carrots and bell peppers and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add the sauce mixture and bring it to a boil. let it simmer and slowly stir in the cornstarch mixture until your desired thickness.
Reduce heat and add the ground beef back into the pan. mix it into the sauce for 2-3 minutes.
Serve with rice and enjoy!
