Cut Out Sugar Cookies (Gluten Free)

Ingridents

Cut Out Sugar Cookie Dough

  • 1 1/2 sticks softened butter

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 1/4 cups sugar

  • 1 teaspoons vanilla

  • 2 1/2 cups gluten-free flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Frosting

  • 2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1-2 tablespoon milk


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar nd butter with an electric mixer.

  2. Mix in eggs one at a time and add in vanilla.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Add hlaf dry ingredients in to wet ingredients and mixing on low speed until just incorporated before adding the second half of dry ingredients and mix. Dough should be soft but not sticky.

  5. Place dough in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to firm up.

  6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  7. Lightly flour area before rolling out dough and use cookies cutters to shape cookies and place cut out cookies on baking sheet.

  8. Place in oven for 6-8 minutes or until cookies are set. Let cool.

  9. For forosting, combine powdered sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth.

  10. Frost cookies, decorate, and enjoy!
