Ingredients:
3 Italian sausage links, without the casing
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes
8 ounces farfalle pasta
¼ cup grated parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Season to taste with salt and pepper
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add Italian sausage, and cook until browned (roughly 3-5 mins).
Add in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste and stir until well combined.
Bring to a simmer, then add in 2 cups of water and the pasta and stir until well combined.
Bring to a boil, cover and reduce the heat to simmer until the pasta is cooked (about 13-15 mins).
Remove from the heat and stir in the mozzarella and parmesan.
Use a cookie scoop to add dollops of ricotta on top.
Cover until heated thoroughly (roughly 2-4 mins), garnish with parsley, and serve.
